What should I do if I see someone violating one or more of the policy provisions?

First and foremost, understand that the POA and Allied Universal Security cannot enforce the law and the Mt. Pleasant Police cannot enforce convenants/policy.

If you see someone violating the law, contact the MPPD. If you witness activity that violates this policy, contact Allied Universal guards at the Harpers Ferry Way Gate.

Call the Police if you see or are aware of someone on any POA property who is publicly intoxicated, consuming alcohol under age, using illegal drugs, using violent or abusive language, assaulting someone, committing vandalism or trespassing, etc.

Activities and behaviors that are prohibited by the policy mostly fall under the purview of the POA (they cannot be enforced by MPPD because they are not against the law). These include, but are not limited to swimming or jumping off the dock; nonresidents who are not accompanied by an owner, and someone who is moored at a boat slip overnight or longer than the allowed time. Please contact Allied Universal guards at the Harpers Ferry Way Gate in these cases.
