How do we handle emergency service entry for contractors after hours, Sundays, or holidays?

Contractor or vendor entry is limited to the following hours:

• Monday-Friday: Open 7am-6pm
• Saturday: Open 8am-4:30pm
• Sunday: Closed
• Not permitted on Holidays

However, an exception is made for emergency HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or some other type of urgent service or repair requiring contractor access.

Create a vendor pass in the gate system AND add the words “EMERGENCY SERVICE,” along with the nature of the emergency, in the “Special Notes” field.

As a back up, you may also call/leave a message for the Community Manager at 843-654-1542. This is his regular phone number at the POA office and your call will be forwarded to his cell phone on weekends. Explain the situation; for an emergency, he will contact the guard house to authorize a pass for the contractor service vehicle.
